Services during COVID-19
During the COVID-19 epidemic, safety of our clients and colleagues is of paramount importance. Until further notice, legal services will be available by phone, e-mail and video conference only. As technology has been a mainstay in our practice, except for face to face contact, our services have been largely uninterrupted.
We remain open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. All our forms and documents are available to our clients electronically, on a computer or mobile device. Notarizing and commissioning of documents can also take place while practicing social distancing and most
signatures can be done electronically.
In cases where a client may not be familiar with setting up online/ electronic methods of communication, we are committed to helping clients set up and navigate online tools necessary to allow us to assist them safely and effectively. Our Technology Advisor, Steve Tannahill (firstname.lastname@example.org), is our dedicated team member helping with this effort.
In some cases, online meetings and telephone calls as a method of communication or signing documents may not be suitable. Each situation will be assessed individually and we will work with clients to devise a sound plan consistent with Ontario health guidelines (https://www.publichealthontario.ca/.)
