Dorota is the principal lawyer. She is a notary public and commissioner.
Dorota was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012. She completed a Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa, where she was awarded the Public Interest Fellowship. Dorota practiced with a reputable general practice firm in Ottawa before venturing out to create Uplawed. Dorota is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association and the County of Carleton Law Association. Dorota taught law at Algonquin College and she volunteers her time with REACH Canada (www.reach.ca).
Before law, Dorota studied at the University of Toronto and at the University of Guelph with the patronage of various academic scholarships, including the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council award. She was a researcher and educator in psychology and published her writing in peer reviewed journals.
Dorota is counsel to Momentum Business Law (http://momentum.law/) where she works with other lawyers to advise clients on complex personal estate and real property issues.

Roseanne has been managing workflow in various professional offices for over 10 years. While completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Carleton University, she also developed a solid portfolio of real estate investments.
In her personal time, Roseanne and her husband take care of two Italian Greyhounds. Roseanne is also an avid karaoke singer.
Steve is a software developer. He helps with the application and integration of technology to client workflow.
Steve started his first business when he was 14 years old. While studying engineering at Carleton University in 2012, he founded a company that won numerous local awards (ex. Start Up Weekend Finalist) and was featured in popular media (ex. TechCrunch).
Steve likes Legos, camping, travel abroad and of course, any technology gadget new on the market.
